[He has Harvey in the Infirmary, and he's sitting by the bed. Not smoking because apparently that's bad for the lungs, or something, and he's in an infirmary with injured people...]

Harvey and Two-Face are in custody. He's going on cabin arrest soon as he's patched up.

Tell you the truth, I think he'd like a little eye for an eye, so if you have a grudge and you don't mind spinning on the merry-go-round with him, I'm not going to step in if you decide to get some 'justice'.

But don't do it anywhere near his cabin.

If anyone knows what the hell happened, fill me in.

[OOC: For those who do respond with wanting to kill Harvey, the Motorcycle Boy will explain what's really going on and that he's actually doing this as a way to build some stability for Harvey to be out instead of Two-Face...but without Two-Face knowing it.

Also, if you try to come to the cabin, Motorcycle Boy is there and watching you and you will also get that explanation in private.]

Yeah...see I don't see a point to it. Solitary. Makes things worse, and being in a cage is like putting a kid in time-out. It's not supposed to be the punishment.

Jettisoning him is always an option. You let me know.

But then again, I've been tortured a few times, and at least once I got some important lessons out of it.

I don't like doing anything without a sense of the long-term consequences. But I really, really want him to suffer. So...you know him, presumably. Do you think it's going to fix anything?

[She couldn't touch Dent on her own. But if she tells Pietro, he hurt my brother - and Cassel is that now, at least as much as he is - she knows he'd do anything she asked. Dent would be tied down before he could blink, and Anya could take all day.]

oh yes, I know he will. I think he could probably be steered into picking on people his own size, at least. I'll think on that. I can't presently bring myself to speak to him but I do know people who know him.

He's been tortured. It turned him into this. More torture will make him worse, and when the heat's off I think you know it.

My long-term goal is to have him put his mind back together. The only one you'll get right now is Harvey, and he's not the one who attacked the kid. Two-Face did. You hurt Harvey, it just makes Two-Face stronger. And the thing is he can't know that I'm trying to protect Harvey or he'll sabotage it.

So yeah, I think he can fix himself over time, if I can keep people from making it worse first.

What lessons did you learn from torture?

Right now it's just Harvey. Wouldn't do any good to talk to him about it, anyway. and at least you know to have a clear head first.

Will hurting Two-Face make Harvey stronger? Because unmaking him sounds like an even better revenge than pain to me.

I'm not going to try to make you learn anything. The only way a lesson means anything is if you find it yourself. And it sounds like you did.

[And truth be told he sounds impressed, reverent even.]

But no, hurting Two-Face just makes him leave Harvey to deal with the stitches and broken teeth. And I'm pretty sure Harvey knows what Two-Face does is wrong, he's just not strong enough to stomach the guilt yet. Doesn't mean I'm going to jump in and protect Two-Face if someone has to fight him, but I can't let anyone bash up Harvey. You know?

So I'm trying to find a way to make Two-Face weaker. Haven't found anything yet but it's only been a day. I can keep you updated, if you're willing to help me really take out Two-Face for good.

I'd appreciate that.

I can't know for sure what I'm willing to do until I know what's needed. But I can promise you I want him gone.

For right now I just need to keep people from going after Harvey.

You aren't gonna be there all the time, is what I'm saying. Believe me, this ship has a way of pulling the fucking rug right out from under you and landing you on your ass on the wrong side of whatever you meant to do.

Yeah. I know. I'm getting as many people as I can on board, and I have to take the gamble that a few people treating him well can outweigh every single person hating him. Cause that's where he's at right now.

Hate makes sense, and I don't blame anyone for it. It's just not useful. I can't really afford to care about anything but what's useful, if I'm going to keep my inmate from getting worse. And if Cassel can understand it right after being attacked--and he does--then the rest of the Barge can fall in line behind him.

Yeah, well, Cassel can be kind of an idiot, and he's not a warden. Yet.

I'm gonna shut up now. Not because I agree, because I don't, but because it's already done. But if I see anyone wailing on anyone, I'm gonna stop it. Capiche?
