Maybe it's a symptom of my war being unpopular, of the soldiers mostly being dragged from home and made to fight, but even the officers who came back don't bring back their beliefs. Maybe they'll find them again, find new ones, but I guess I never thought of your time as being all that different to mine. I think I was wrong.
Honestly, does it seem very different to you than it was?
