The day to day is just the same as back home. Same kinds of fights, same kinds of bars. So far, when things are fun it makes all the rest worth it, though.

I have a hard time remembering the upsides for me. Bleu--she helps. But I suppose that comes naturally to her, to be a muse on top of everything else.

She's a singular woman. Although I think she likes it when we recognize that, from what I can tell.

The worst? [He considers that a minute.] Maybe just that everyone thinks they know what you're about, from what they've seen or heard. You never quite get a chance to explain yourself - you've got to make sure you are who you want to be, every day.

[He's never really had too much trouble with that, just by virtue of his personality, but he can see the danger.]

Who they think you are doesn't seem so different from who they think you should be. I could be wrong, but it seems to me if you consciously step into your own life every morning, it will get in through at least some of their expectations. Even the most blind and ridiculous ones.

Or am I wrong?
